Upgrade Policy
There is no charge to upgrade from version 5.5 to version 5.7. If you have version 5.5 installed, you can upgrade to version 5.7 by installing over your existing install. Version 5.5 registration keys will also work with version 5.7.
If however you currently license version 5.1 or earlier, you must purchase a version upgrade to run version 5.5 or version 5.7 or later. Version 5.1 or 5.0 license keys will not work with version 5.5 or version 5.7.
If you had an earlier version of our single emulation products such as CE5250, CE3270 or CEVT220, you can upgrade to a later version of CETerm as our single emulation products are being phased out. CETerm emulators include the same functionality as our single emulation products. The above version upgrade rules will still apply.
We want to keep your cost of ownership low, so we don't recommend upgrading unless you need to use the many new features in version 5.7.
If you are purchasing a version upgrade, we request that you please provide the following as part of your order:
- Naurtech order number for purchase of previous version (If available)
- Naurtech product name (required)
- Your existing userid / License ID (required)
Version upgrades may also be purchased from the online store.
