Signature Capture
In most of the western world, digital signature capture is ubiquitous in most retail and logistics settings. Electronics versions of hand-scribed signatures can be captured and saved to verify package delivery, authorize payment or authenticate a transaction.
With version 5.7 onwards, CETerm contains built-in capability to capture signatures and save these either as images or as an array of coordinates for a compact representation. The saved signature can be retrieved later for display. Signature capture and retrieval capability can be easily integrated within your legacy terminal emulation or newer web browser application.
- Save time and money:
- Replace paper processes with electronic signature capture solutions.
- Optimize your solution:
- Use your hand held terminal screen instead of a dedicated signature pad.
- Retrieve later:
- Retrieve captured signature image for verification and tracking in your application.
- Legacy host & Web applications:
- Works with both terminal emulation and Web Browser sessions
For details on implementation, refer to the Signature Capture section in the CETerm Scripting Guide.
